Polkr
August 17th, 2006
I know I’ve posted this already but I’ve added a few images to help explain what it does…
Polkr is a little flickr experiment I’ve been working on today, you can see a demo in action although it’s not ready for public distribution at the moment. In a nutshell Polkr creates a digital dot masked image from a flickr thumbnail image… hmmm ok, this’ll be easier for you to look at rather than have me try and explain… I suppose a much better nutshell would have been it’s cool have a look…
Here’s a demo image
(Flash 8 player required)
This is just an early development stage, and it’s likely that I’ll only be using Polkr as an artistic toy, anyway if you think it’d be neat to be able to use it with your photo’s post me a comment and let me know.If you’re wondering why it’s called Polkr… Polka dots… and Polkr’s a better name than dottr… (isn’t it?)
can you Digg it?
is it del.icio.us?
